Final Giveaway Blog Post--New Hours

Hello everyone!

Again, in order to kick off the holiday season, we have been posting a series of blog posts for the past few days (December 1-5). Blog Post Four of Five Giveaway: 5 Questions with Dr. Redenius

Hello everyone!

This week, I sat down with Dr. Redenius and asked him a series of five questions relating to overall health and chiropractic. These are some of the most common questions he gets asked at the clinic. Read on to see his responses!

1) What is the most impactful thing or activity a patient can do to improve his or her own overall health?

Dr. Redenius: The number one thing they can do is to become proactive. Get rid of excuses, and work on improving your health (diet, exercise, preventative care) every day of your life. Not just when you are in pain, have a symptom, or feel like you are overweight or out of shape.

2) What is the most impactful thing or activity a patient can do to get the most from their chiropractic care?

Dr. Redenius: I would definitely say being active in your care. Patients are used to showing up to a doctor, receiving a pill, and their only responsibility is to take the pill until it runs out. Getting the most out of your chiropractic care requires patients to show up to all appointments, be preventative in regards to maintaining proper alignment, and staying consistent with any at home exercises or recommendations.

3) Do you have to have a referral to see a chiropractor, and how long does an adjustment take?

Dr. Redenius: No, you do not need a referral for the chiropractic care or therapies we offer at Redenius Chiropractic. A new patient visit may take around 45 minutes as I do a physical, x-rays if needed, and an adjustment. Once you've had your initial visit, your appointment may only take 10-15 minutes if you are just getting an adjustment or 15-30 minutes if you are getting any form of therapy as well.

4) Does chiropractic care help all ages?

Dr. Redenius: Yes! I treat patients who are infants as well as patients who are older. Chiropractic care is the least invasive treatment for many issues people of all ages face.

5) What is your favorite thing about being a chiropractor?

Dr. Redenius: Aside from the look of amazement on someone's face when they feel relief from their first adjustment, I have just really enjoyed helping our community members feel better, get healthy, and embrace preventative health care.

Today, we'd like to share out some information on how you can begin feeling like the best version of yourself this winter.
